U.S. Government Publications

Crumb Library has been a member of the Federal Depository Program since 1966. Documents and indexes are available to the public at the library and through the web sites listed here. Those links indicated as "SUNY Potsdam access only" will be accessible to the general public from computers in the libraries, but not from off-campus.

Some of the library's government publications are included in the main collection, but a greater number are shelved by Superintendent of Documents (SuDocs) number in either the paper collection on the 2nd floor (US Docs), or as microfiche in cabinets in the 1st floor. U.S. documents that are not available in Crumb Library can often be found in other area libraries, or obtained through Interlibrary Loan. About the Federal Depository Library Program.
