Crumb Library
Location
Spacious, comfortable, and friendly, the Crumb Library, is conveniently located in the center of the academic quadrangle.
Resources and Services
Crumb Library is an important avenue to knowledge in the educational environment. Working in collaboration with academic departments, librarians
select a wide range of traditional and non-traditional information sources to make available to the college community. Meeting with
individuals, with small groups, or in a formal course-related setting, the library faculty assist students to develop their ability
to identify, evaluate, and retrieve appropriate information to support their academic endeavors or their personal interests.
In addition to internet access, the Libraries subscribe to a variety of databases, many of which may be accessed through the
library web site with personal computers or from college computer labs. The main collection is accessed through a networked online
public access catalog. Crumb Library is a selective depository for United States and New York State documents and for maps from
the U.S. Geological Survey.
Collection Strengths
The libraries' collections support instruction in the disciplines that comprise the Bachelor of Arts degree programs in arts and
sciences and music, and the master's degree programs in education and music. There are particular strengths in fields such as music,
art, history and sociology.
